Projects
My professional journey has taken me through entrepreneurship, construction, infrastructure, operations, technology, and hands-on project development.
Different industries, different roles, but a recurring pattern: understand the problem, create structure, and turn ideas into working solutions.
Below are some of the projects and experiences that best reflect the way I work.
Different projects. One approach.
Understand → Structure → Build → Test → Improve
Building a Mediterranean restaurant from the ground up meant combining business development, design, construction, operations, team management, customer experience, and continuous improvement.
Role: Founder / Entrepreneur
Focus: Business Development · Operations · Hospitality · Systems
A major infrastructure project where planning, execution, quality, resources, and deadlines had to work together under demanding operational conditions.
Role: Production Manager / Site Management
Focus: Infrastructure · Execution · Team Coordination · Quality
Managing the technical side of multiple construction projects, including residential buildings, hotels, public facilities, rehabilitation works, and other civil construction developments.
Role: Technical Director
Focus: Project Management · Construction · Cost Control · Contracts
A different environment that gave me direct exposure to business development, customer operations, fleet-related processes, and the improvement of tools used to manage rental activities.
I also developed an operational calculation tool designed to simplify rental quotations, pricing, and customer communication.
Role: Deputy Director
Focus: Operations · Business Development · Process Improvement · Automation
A collection of projects developed in Isacov, combining design, and on-site problem solving in a highly practical environment.
This experience was strongly connected to early-stage technical drafting work, where I learned to document and interpret existing structures through field measurements and translate them into precise technical drawings and execution plans.
It also included involvement in works related to major reference sites such as the World Trade Center (WTC) Constanța and Hotel Flora in Mamaia, where coordination, adaptation to real-site conditions, and technical accuracy were essential.
These projects brought together multiple disciplines in real construction environments, where solutions had to be implemented quickly, efficiently, and in alignment with existing structures and constraints.
Scope included: residential works, structural elements, technical detailing, coordination of execution works, and hands-on construction problem solving.
Focus: Design · Construction · Execution · Practical Engineering
By combining experience in design, construction execution, and project management, I have been able to coordinate independent projects across the entire project lifecycle.
These included residential construction, steel structures, small accommodation units, technical documentation, and structural assessment projects.
Design and visualization have often been part of the way I explore and communicate solutions.
From technical drawings to architectural concepts and 3D renderings, these tools allow ideas to be tested, refined, and understood before they become physical reality.
Focus: Design · Execution · Project Management · Turnkey Delivery
Digital Projects
I designed and developed the digital presence for both iulianlefter.com and Taverna Lefkada, structuring information, content, user journeys, and practical tools around real communication needs.
For me, websites are not simply presentation tools. They are systems that help people find information, make decisions, and interact more easily with an organization.
Focus: Website Development · Information Architecture · UX Thinking · Digital Tools
An evolving automation ecosystem designed to reduce repetitive tasks, employee cognitive load, operational errors, and unnecessary energy consumption.
The system integrates lighting, atmosphere, ventilation, climate control, equipment protection, and increasingly complex operational workflows.
Focus: Automation · Systems Thinking · Hospitality Operations · Process Design
When standard solutions were too expensive, unavailable, or unsuitable, I often chose to design and build my own.
At Taverna Lefkada, this included furniture, decorative elements, lighting fixtures, functional equipment, and customized solutions developed specifically for the available space and operational needs.
Focus: Prototyping · DIY · Product Design · Practical Problem Solving
