A comprehensive renovation and modernization project focused on improving the building's energy performance and expanding its functional spaces.

The main works included thermal insulation of the building envelope, the vertical extension of the restaurant, and the addition of a set-back upper floor to the main hotel building, creating a new conference facility.

My involvement included on-site measurements and building surveys, translating existing conditions into technical drawings, and preparing CAD documentation to support the design and execution process.

World Trade Center Constanța was an ambitious mixed-use development led by RED Management, planned to include retail, office, hotel, entertainment and cultural functions.

Our main responsibility was the local adaptation of the original architectural concept, translating the design into technical drawings and documentation compatible with Romanian standards, regulations and construction requirements.

My work focused on CAD drafting, technical detailing and adapting architectural information into locally applicable plans and documentation.

The project was ultimately halted in the context of the 2008 financial crisis and was never completed. Only the excavation support works and parts of the foundations remained as physical traces of what was intended to become one of Constanța’s major landmark developments.
